No one knows, we handle it all and you get paid.

Buying process

  1. 1Tell us what you need — system, quantity, when you need it.
  2. 2We check equipment already placed with us and come back to you.
  3. 3If we can do it, you get a price. If we can't, we say so. No chasing.
  4. 4You buy from Intalink. We handle payment and freight.

Selling process

  1. 1Place it with us. No shop window. No commitment fee.
  2. 2You set a floor, or no price. We handle the deal. Enquiry traffic stays with us.
  3. 3Buyer never gets your name, yard, or number.
  4. 4You get paid before the equipment leaves the yard.

We do it simply, quickly, and fairly. Everyone moves on. Handled the way tradies should work.

What is the problem we are solving

There is a common problem across the industry. When we need equipment, it's usually urgent — so there's no time to shop around. We email the supplier, and the next day shiny new equipment turns up, goes straight onto a truck, and now sits in the mix with fifteen-year-old equipment doing the same task.

And on the flip side, selling excess equipment isn't easy either. You can list it on auction and market platforms, but most scaffolders aren't browsing those. So you get the enquiries from people wanting a couple of planks to build ramps, or tube for a jungle gym they now want you to design with them. You play chatty and nice while you've still got a core business to run and quotes to do. The other option is calling around other scaffold companies to see if they want to buy — but for most people, that's a difficult conversation to have.

This is why Intalink was built — a way for the trade to move fit-for-purpose equipment between each other at less than new, convert idle stock into money, and do it without having the hassles above. Talk to us at intalink.co.nz

Frequently asked questions

Confidential means exactly that

Your company name, yard location, and what you're buying or selling stay with us unless you say otherwise. Sellers can register anonymously for as long as they like. Buyers' requirements aren't shared with anyone else in the market. Nothing about your business goes public — ever.

Behind Intalink

Joel Warren is the founder, but this isn't a one-person operation. Between us, the team has spent years on both sides of the scaffold industry — supplying equipment, buying it, and dealing with the exact problems Intalink exists to solve. Joel's background involves over 15 years on the wholesale supply side into New Zealand and Australia, along with running his co-owned scaffold business which has gone past the 10-year mark. We're in a soft launch right now, building this properly rather than rushing to look big and over-committing. So if you do send us a request, you can expect a reply from us and a focus to get it done for you.
